David Ensminger is a writer for Maximum Rock’n'Roll, Houston Press, M/C Journal, the University Press of Mississippi, Journal of Popular Music Studies, and many others. He also founded Left of the Dial magazine and website, which published from 2001-2010. His book Visual Vitriol, about punk street art and culture, has been covered by Paste, The Economist, and the Boston Globe in 2011. This work represents twenty years worth of material culled from his visual archive.
